This was a cute rom-com read for the Valentine holiday! This story follows Phoebe as she moves into her father’s house for the summer after his untimely passing. She then has to juggle getting the house ready to sell, writing her dissertation, and figuring out if her handsome neighbor is a serial killer.
I have been a fan of Colleen Hoover for many years, her books It Ends With Us, Ugly Love, and November 9th are some of my favorites of hers. While I haven’t read all her books, I have yet to read one that I dislike and Regretting You is no different!
Better Than The Movies lives up to the title as we get so many classic rom-com moments! The makeover moment, rain declarations, moments of self discovery, and my personal favorite… the banter of a classic enemies-to-lover trope!
This was one of Colleen’s first Thrillers that I read and I couldn’t put it down. Assistant soon as I read the message at the beginning of the book, which ended with a handful of content/trigger warnings, I knew that this would be completely different reading experience.
This book follows Bill in the cockpit trying to navigate the terroists demands, while trying to give the FBI time to rescue his family. The flight attendants onboard are made aware of the situation and they too have to find a way to protect the numerous innocent passengers onboard from any impending attacks, especially as there is a person onboard meant to ensure Bill follows the rules. While the FBI searches for the Hoffman's we are kept on the edge of our seats, with twists, turns and consistent action as we never fully know what will happen next...
Fourth Wing has altered my brain chemistry! Like many others I have been wholeheartedly obsessed with all things Fourth Wing since I picked up that beautiful masterpiece of a book. This book joined my bookshelf when it started blowing up everywhere around June/July of this year. However, it then sat there until I heard the sequel Iron Flame was already set to release within the same year. Once I heard that news, I decided to crack open this book and my life hasn’t been the same since. When I tell you I have one of the biggest Book Hangovers I have experienced in years… I mean it! This book pulled me in from the first chapter and I never turned back. It was a whirlwind of a read, from the detailed fight scenes, the amazing signet powers, to the budding romances, and lets not forget… the dragons!!! My biggest regret is that I waited 3 whole months until I read it!
